Sky-Water

The theme of Water led me to explore another conceptual aspect and a form of installation of cloth entitled Sky-Water, shaping water which links the sky to the earth. I was inspired by the thought of ancient Japanese people who used the word “ame” to designate both the sky and the rain. The two things were clearly separated at the moment of the introduction of Chinese ideograms. The sound “ame” still exists, however, and still indicates the sky and the rain.
